Architect

This opportunity presents an exciting prospect for an Architect who is looking to work in a close-knit team to deliver a range of exciting developments across the region.
The successful candidate must be motivated and able to manage the design process from site inception to final completion. Prior experience within the housebuilding industry would be very beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience
-Degree Qualified and RIBA membership
-Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
-Minimum 2 years practical experience in an Architectural role
-Previous housebuilding experience
Skills and Aptitude
-Demonstrates a creative approach towards producing development site layouts and a passion for delivering quality residential schemes
-Can communicate with clarity and work effectively as part of a close-knit team
-Can coordinate external consultants to prepare accurate working drawings and specifications for our Construction & Commercial Teams
-Possesses excellent attention to detail and a working knowledge of the Building Regulations and standard with a clear understanding of Part L and its solutions in particular

PA to the Chairman
An exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to work within the housing sector. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Northumberland.
We are looking for a versatile and highly organised personal assistant to perform personalised administrative duties for senior management. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings, taking notes, and handling correspondence on behalf of senior Directors. You may also be required to make travel arrangements and assist with other duties when required.
To ensure success as a personal assistant, you should exhibit excellent organisational skills and demonstrable experience in a secretarial role. Accomplished personal assistants are intuitive to the needs of the Directors and work autonomously to provide customised administrative support.

The post holder will be required to provide administrative support at Director and Board level.
Experience Required
– Applicants will be highly organised, with good IT skills and previous experience working in a PA role.
– Reporting to senior management and performing secretarial and administrative duties.
– Typing, formatting, and editing letters and reports, documents, and presentations.
– Organising personal and independent business matters – banking, invoice payment, liaising with external advisers.
– Entering data, maintaining address databases, and keeping records.
– Liaising with internal departments, answering calls, and making travel arrangements.
– Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management.
– Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
– Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.
– Preparing facilities and organising scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.
– Office Management is ordering office supplies and replacements and managing mail and courier services.
– Observing best business practices and etiquette.
Requirements
– Certification in secretarial work, office administration, or related training.
– Proven experience as a personal assistant would be advantageous.
– Extensive experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using office software such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Advanced typing, Dictaphone software, shorthand, note-taking, and high-level organisational skills.
– Accounts, taxation, and record-keeping knowledge.
– Ability to manage internal and external correspondence.
– Working knowledge of printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
– Proficiency in appointment scheduling software such as MS Outlook and call forwarding.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration
Up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
